Hello,
About 2 weeks ago I bought a second hand Macbook. This is a 13-inch, Aluminum, late 2008 model.
So I contacted the owner, bla bla bla, and I knew the internal keyboard was not working. But I got a exernal USB Apple keyboard with it, so no big deal for me.
I build my own pc and upgraded my laptop before and know a lot about pcs. Once the Macbook was home, no problem at all except the internal keyboard ofcourse. I bought a new internal keyboard for my laptop and installed it. Still it doesn't work.
Long story short: internal keyboard not working, replaced it with a new one and same problem.
- Trackpad works perfect
- Powerbutton works perfect aswell
- Running OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
- Harddrive was once replaced
Keyboards For Mac Mini
As I heard from the previous owner before: they were browsing the web and suddenly the keyboard stopped working. They just bought an external one then. They did say sometimes it would work for a moment.
2 weeks in my hands and never worked once.
This is what I tried so far:

- Checking for mouse buttons (this is off)
- Resetting PRAM or so (alt + cmd + p + r during boot)

I could use all help to fix this! If you think something might help, please respond! I have no money left to buy other things (I'm 18) so don't say 'Just buy a new mac'
Regards,
Troy
